E-3 Visa for Australians in Specialty Occupations - DOL’s Labor Condition Application (LCA) Filing Requirement as of April 11th, 2008.

The E-3 Visa classification is available to Australian specialty occupation workers. The requirements for qualification are identical to the standard for the H-1B visa. The department of recently issued new guidelines requiring that the E-3 Australian Visa Filers submit Labor Condition Applications on Form ETA 9035 as H-1B visa application filers.

17-Month Extension of F-1 Student Visa OPT For H-1B OPT Cap Gap

USCIS announces that F-1 Optional Practical Training Student Visas (OPT) can be extended from the previous limit of 12 months to a total of 29 months now. This F-1 Visa OPT extension is available for F-1 Students with a degree in science, technology, engineering, or math who are employed in their area of study by businesses enrolled in the E-Verify program.
